01. Where are you based?
I’m based in Cape Town, South Africa, but I take on projects across the Western Cape and beyond. For long-distance or international projects, I also offer virtual design services.
02. How far in advance should we reach out?
The sooner, the better! Ideally, reach out 3–6 months before your renovation or installation begins so we have time to plan, source materials, and build your design timeline. For new builds or full-home renovations, even earlier is best. If you just need a quick consult, I can often schedule a call within 1-2 weeks.
03. What’s A discovery call & Do I need to come prepared?
Your discovery call is a free, no-pressure online call to talk about your space, your goals, and whether we’re a good fit. We’ll go over the design process, timeline, and next steps so you know exactly what to expect.
To prep for our call, please look for inspiration in magazines or online (such as Pinterest) to show me what kind of style you like (or not!). Also please measure the dimensions of the room(s).
04. What’s your design style?
My style leans toward timeless, modern, and lived-in - think clean lines, natural textures, and spaces that feel both refined and relaxed. That said, each design is tailored to my client’s lifestyle and personality.
05. How long does the design process take?
Every project is unique, but most design phases take 9–12 weeks, depending on scope and contractor timelines. I’ll give you a custom timeline during our consultation.
06. What's your billing process like?
Once we’ve finalized your proposal, I’ll provide a detailed scope of work with a clear breakdown of fees and payment milestones. A retainer is required to secure your project, with the remaining payments spread out over key stages of the process (for example: concept design, sourcing, and installation).
All invoices are transparent and you’ll always know exactly what’s included before we move forward.
